Makhampom has been variously described as a family, a kindergarten, a university, a community, a food centre, oh, and a theatre group. In essence it is a social organization that works in the medium of theatre.
We work in favor of education supporting and carrying out many projects such as community library project, mobile library project, scholarship project, nursery school project, and dormitory project. Also, the foundation offers trainings for teachers and librarians, exchange program and emergency relief project.
Sunny Boy (Mohammed Salia) has set up this project in his home country, Sierra Leone in West Africa, to lend micro-credits to the widows and former child soldiers after over a decade of civil war.
